NI schedules latest Labview Developer Days
National Instruments (NI) will hold a series of introductory and advanced education days to help engineers and scientists to improve productivity using the Labview graphical programming software.
The Labview Developer Days will take place in Newbury on 14 September; Bristol on 15 September; Fareham on 16 September; Cambridge on 21 September; Birmingham on 22 September; Altrincham, near Manchester, on 23 September; Glasgow on 28 September; and Limerick on 30 September.

The National Instruments Labview Developer Day offers free introductory and advanced technical sessions
Each of the Labview Developer Days will incorporate two technical presentation tracks running simultaneously so that attendees can choose the most relevant and useful topics, depending on their skills sets.
Both tracks will combine in-depth presentations, product demonstrations and hands-on experience.
The track targeted at attendees who are intermediate and advanced Labview programmers will cover the follow topics: What's New in Labview 2010?; Improving the Performance of Your Labview Applications; Tips and Tricks to Develop Labview Applications Faster; Managing Large Labview Applications with Software Engineering Tools; Customising Hardware with Labview FPGA; and a Certified Labview Developer Exam Preparation Class.
The introductory track, for those new to the Labview platform, will feature the following topics: Introducing the Labview Platform; Building Your First Labview Application; Discover the Latest Techniques and Technologies for Data Acquisition; Building Better User Interfaces in Labview; Data Storage for the Petabyte Age; and a Certified Labview Associate Developer Exam.
To further increase productivity with NI products, attendees will also receive a voucher for a GBP200 discount when purchasing either a Labview Core or Labview Connectivity training course.
Places on the Labview Developer Days are free of charge but availability is limited.
