Phil Rawlings, Technical Director of Cyth Systems UK, a National Instruments Alliance Partner, has become the first engineer outside of America and the fourth engineer worldwide to achieve Certified TestStand Architect status. This is the highest level of NI TestStand certification available. NI certification is a professional qualification that validates technical growth and skill in using NI products.

In particular the achievement recognises Rawlings' experience in manufacturing test principles and meeting manufacturing test system needs.

The certification also signifies Rawlings' mastery of the NI TestStand architecture and its customisations to provide complex and comprehensive test solutions.

'This Certification will certainly provide Cyth Systems with a competitive edge in their market', said Rebecca Sherwood, Customer Education Manager at National Instruments.

'The achievement also emphasises the commitment Cyth has shown in the US and Europe in working with NI to bring their system development and architecture skills to the highest level'.

National Instruments offers certifications for LabView, LabWindows/CVI and NI TestStand.

The Associate Developer, Developer and Architect levels represent basic, advanced and expert skills with NI products.

'Phil Rawlings' achievement in becoming the first Certified TestStand Architect outside of the US has a significant impact on our company mission'.

'Cyth Systems continue to push the concepts of making 'code-reuse' a reality, 'nonprogramming' ATE solutions achievable, and driving down the cost of these systems by increasing the utilisation of COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf technology)'.

'This certification is the most rigorous NI offers and validates not only Phil's technical and software knowledge, but also his ability to design and architect the right test system for small or large applications', said Joe Spinozzi, Director of Marketing at Cyth Systems.

'All of Cyth's technical personnel are certified developers in LabView, NI TestStand, or both'. Request free introductory details about products from National Instruments....
