More features for general-purpose 8bit MCUs
The HT48R10A-1, HT48R30A-1 and HT48R50A-1 are Holtek's new generation of 8bit general-purpose I/O microcontrollers
MCU takes ADC and more onboard
Complementing the existing members of its A/D range of microcontrollers, the Holtek HT46R24 is a one-time-programmable device, containing a wide range of additional features
In response to recent demands from the TV remote market, and using an 8bit microcontroller at its core, Holtek developed a new TV remote device, the HT48CA0, to meet this market need.
And following on from this, the company has developed a further TV remote product offering, the HT48RA0A microcontroller.
The HT48CA0 and HT48RA0A are fully compatible microcontrollers, most suitable for use in remote control products and simple controller applications.
In addition to possessing general I/O functions, the devices also provide a choice of a wide range of carrier wave frequencies and duty cycles, providing the flexibility to meet the needs of most remote control products.
The working voltage can be reduced to as low as 2.3V, and internal low voltage reset circuitry provides a high level of product reliability.
With the advantages of one-time programmability, the HT48RA0A gives end product designers greater design freedom and flexibility and aids the development of competitive low-volume products.
Taking advantages of the benefits of a one-time programmable microcontroller, this device provides users with the flexible means to easily and efficiently add new product functions or signal formats.
Although Holtek's current range of remote control device product offerings is already extensive, in the future Holtek still intends to extend further this key product range by releasing new universal type devices with even more enhanced capabilities to meet the increased needs of all related remote control vendors and end users.
