Microkim, based in Tirat, Carmel, Israel, is a leading supplier of microwave synthesisers, digitally tuned oscillators, radar/EW simulator test sets and sub systems for communications and government applications.

Recent developments include complete up/down convertors and ODU transceivers for wireless applications up to 30GHz.

Microkim also offers a build-to-spec service in order to address the need for customer specific sub-systems and devices.

Following consolidation in its domestic market, Microkim, under the direction of Hanan Friedman, CEO, is now looking to expand its European presence.

The appointment of Gigahertz Marketing Solutions is designed to utilise their experience of marketing specialist microwave products in the UK and the Republic of Ireland to the professional communications and defence markets.
