Multiplexing amplifiers move high-bandwidth video
Elantec Semiconductor claims to have the industry's fastest triple 2:1 multiplexing (MUX) amplifiers in the shape of the EL4342C and EL4346C
Aimed at high-bandwidth applications, these multiplexing amps are used to select one of two component (RGB or YUV) video inputs. With a fixed unity gain, the EL4342C has a bandwidth of 600MHz and the EL4346C, with a fixed gain of two, has a 500MHz bandwidth. Designed to process the latest standards in PC video, including UXGA and QXGA, these new multiplexing amplifiers are also ideal for HDTV processing applications where they are used in input switching applications.

Sampling now, the EL4342C and EL4346C are priced at $3.85 each in quantities of 1000-units and are available in 24-pin QSOPs.
