Start with the news release IPS-Pro TFT displays can be seen from all angles from Hitachi Display Products, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hitachi Display Products (DPG) has released high-performance IPS-Pro TFT display modules for public information, self-service terminals, kiosk and entertainment-based applications and terminals. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Avalue COM delivers good 3D rendering performance from Avalue Technology: "Avalue has announced that its ESM-GM45 computer-on-module (COM) supports Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron M CPU.".
In November 2009, we covered the news from GPEG International - take a look at GPEG's kits connect TFT displays to interfaces which says: "GPEG TFT kits allow the user to quickly and easily connect a selection of TFT displays to standard interfaces such as VGA, DVI (D, A and I) and video sources. ".
