Contax will exhibit for the first time at Autosport International at the NEC on 13th and 14th January 2005

Its stand, number 501, will be located in the automotive electronics section in Hall 19 at the Show. Contax will be promoting a selection of world-class systems ideally suited to automotive manufacture. These will be displayed as a rolling demonstration on a plasma screen, with technical experts available to provide further detail and discuss specific requirements.

The products highlighted will include automated assembly systems - Contax will be offering the full range of Komax (and Sibos) assembly systems including fully automated assembly lines for high volume production and complex bespoke solutions.

In X-ray inspection, Phoenix X-Ray is a market leader in the field of computed tomography (3D) and 2D X-ray inspection.

Contax will be profiling the companys products and discussing the benefits and practicalities of noninvasive inspection and test.

For automated assembly, robotic soldering and dispensing, MTA is one of the most respected manufacturers of micro-assembly systems, with over 1400 soldering and 500 micro-dispensing units installed worldwide.

As exclusive supplier in the UK, Contax is able to provide technical advice and consultancy on all aspects of automated assembly techniques.

Also on show will be products for laser marking and traceability.

As the industry works towards 0ppm failures, so effective laser marking and traceability becomes crucial.

Leading German company, Rommel provides a full range of products including laser and ink jet marking to provide 100% traceability.

In PCBs, Contax will be available to offer advice on all elements of PCB assembly and storage, and can offer a range of systems from world leading suppliers.
