Contax will be displaying a video showing two examples of specially designed automation systems in use from MTA and Komax Systems (formerly Sibos) bespoke automation.
The MTA robotic assembly and soldering system replicates tasks usually undertaken by hand, while improving consistency and production quality.
Programming is menu-driven and intuitive, making it simple to set up and operate.
Komax Systems provides bespoke automation systems for complete automatic assembly of components such as sensors, actuators, switches etc.
The capabilities of the systems will be demonstrated and experienced Contax staff will be available to answer any questions on the systems or advise the visitor on solutions for his specific production line.

Eight new PCB systems will be displayed on Contax's stand.
These include the new MPM MicroFlex printer.
Ideally suited for batch-level production and prototype printing, the MicroFlex features a "tool-less" magnetic work holder with vacuum support to ensure quick product changeovers and maximum flexibility.
The Essemtec FLX1020 is another new product on the stand.
A versatile and intelligent pick and place assembly system, the FLX1020 offers placement speeds of up to 8000 components per hour, with users able to change product without downtime.
Contax will also be showing ATF's new Soldering 20-F.
With the introduction of the ATF range of lead free wave soldering equipment, Contax now offers lead free solutions from ATF bench top to the full in-line high speed Electrovert wave soldering.
Built in Germany ATF has many years of experience in providing cost effective solutions which have now extended to lead free capability with multiple options like dual pot solutions to meet market requirements.
Other products include: the McDry Cabinet, a new range of drying cabinets designed to prevent microcracking in ICs; the MPM Maximiser rheo pump, which expands the capability of pump printing to reduce the amount of paste wasted during the printing process; MPM Gel-Flex Tooling, a new conformal board support systems that offers ease of use and lower costs than traditional board supports; the Essemtec RO300FC, a full convection reflow oven designed for high-temperature soldering of sensitive electronics, and ideally suited to lead free applications; and the Omron Mouse AOI, a Windows-based automated component placement and solder joint optical inspection system that offers full vision capabilities.
Three cable preparation systems are also to be demonstrated on Contax's stand.
The Komax bt721, semi-automatic benchtop crimping press will be launched at the show.
Developed to offer the high quality production generally only available with fully automatic equipment, it has a new touch-screen user interface, built-in crimp force analyser and is fully programmable.
It is also available with the new Digi-Stripper module to provide high quality, repeatable process with fast job changeover.
The recently announced Komax Gamma 255 will be shown for the first time in the UK.
This is a new generation of fully automatic crimping machines for processing the smallest cross-sections down to AWG 36.
Additionally, the Komax Kappa family of automatic stripping machines will be on the stand.
These flexible, precision machines are ideally suited to cutting individual and special wires, with most of the range supporting inkjet printing.
