Mikroelektronika has launched the MikroETH board, a communication accessory product for customers wanting to design and develop embedded applications with Ethernet connectivity.

The new tool features a Microchip ENC28J60 Ethernet controller with a 10/100 Base-Transformer RJ45 connector.

The board saves development time and is a suitable tool for designing prototype devices.

The company has also added a new accessory board called the MMC Ready Board.

This tool is intended for users who want to create MMC-/SD-based mass storage devices based on PIC devices.

The board features a PIC18F252 microcontroller that is capable of handling various mass storage operations.

This device is programmed via an IDC10 connector, which is used to connect the Picflash programmer.

In addition, the tool contains voltage regulation so users do not have to connect additional electronic components.

The board can be connected to peripheral devices via 2.54mm extension pins.

Each feature of the board is supported by example written in MikroC, Mikropascal and Mikrobasic Pro for PIC compilers.

Mikroelektronika has also announced the release of the SmartG100 board, which allows users to develop and design GSM/GPRS devices using Ublox Leon-G100 modules.

The tool features a Leon-G100 GSM/GPRS module and onboard voltage regulation, so users do not have to connect additional power supply electronics.

The user simply needs to connect the power supply to the board and the GSM antenna and is ready to develop the device.

Each feature of the board is supported by example written in MikroC, Mikropascal and Mikrobasic Pro compilers.
