Commell unveils Mini-ITX LV-67A mainboard
Taiwan Commate Computer (Commell) has introduced the Mini-ITX LV-67A mainboard.
The LV-67A incorporates an Intel LGA775 pin-out, which is compatible with Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q9400, Intel Core 2 Duo processors E8400, E7400, E6400 and E4300, Intel dual-core processors E5300 and E2160 and Intel Celeron processor 440 at 1,333/1,066/800MHz system bus.
The LV-67A platform, based on the Q45 Express chipset, is suitable for developing high-performance systems for industrial control and automation, retail and hospitality, gaming, print imaging, digital signage, digital surveillance and network security applications.
The mainboard has a built-in Intel Graphics Accelerator 4500 to deliver graphics performance and features, integrated dual-display support and support for Microsoft DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.0.
The graphic memory controller hub incorporates an updated backbone architecture that optimises available bandwidth with the 1,333MHz system bus.
The platform also provides digital video interface support with up to 2,048x1,536 resolution.
The mainboard also supports Intel matrix storage technology (MST).
It provides quicker access to applications and data files with RAID zero and 10 and greater data protection against a hard-disk drive failure with RAID 1.5 and 10.
Features of the LV-67A include: Intel Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo/Celeron processors at FSB 667/800/1,066MHz by the LGA775 socket pin-out; two DDR3 800/1,066MHz DIMM up to 4.0Gb; Intel Q45 and ICH10DO; Intel integrated extreme GMA 4500 technology; an onboard 18-/24-bit dual-channel LVDS; an optional DVI interface; and two Intel 82574L Giga local-area networks.
The mainboard also supports six SATAII interfaces with up to 300Mb/s transfer rate and Raid zero, one, five and 10 and Intel MST.
Other features include: integrated ICH10DO with Realtek ALC888 HD audio; three RS232 serial ports and one RS232/422/485 serial port, eight USB2.0 ports, one DB15 VGA port, one PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports; one PCI slot and one Mini-PCI socket; an onboard programmable eight-bit digital I/O interface; and a 256-level generate system reset programmable watchdog timer.
