‘Programmable Watchdog’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Linear introduces H-grade switching regulator from Linear Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "Linear Technology has announced a H-grade step-down switching regulator for load dump and cold-crank conditions commonly found in automotive applications as well as 24V industrial supplies.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Rakon TCXOs feature power management from Rakon: "Rakon has developed a range of digitally controlled temperature controlled crystal oscillator that can maximise battery life and minimise the electronic signature of military equipment. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Allegro Microsystems - take a look at Sensor IC withstands harsh automotive environments which says: "Allegro Microsystems has launched the A1356, a user-programmable linear Hall-effect sensor IC with a pulse width modulated (PWM) output for automotive gear and clutch detection and position sensing.".
Take a look also at the news release from Saelig, Precision USB oscilloscope for scientific use, as well as Bridge chip range for USB/(HID)-USB connectivity from Silicon Laboratories, and Synchronous buck regulator for POL applications from Semtech.
