‘Rtl Synthesis’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release FDS Software used in Fujitsu ASIC Reference Flow from Forte Design Systems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Cynthesizer synthesis software has been selected for use in Fujitsu's application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) Reference Flow for the 40nm process technologies, along with 90 and 65nm. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release C-to-FPGA compiler supports Pico M-series modules from Impulse Accelerated Technologies: "Impulse Accelerated Technologies' C-to-FPGA compiler is to be extended to support Pico Computing's M-series modules, for applications in security and bioinformatics.".
In November 2010, we covered the news from Silicon Laboratories - take a look at Flexible in-circuit clocks for gaming and business which says: "Silicon Laboratories has announced the Si5350/51, programmable CMOS octal clock generators with on-chip voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs), for applications including HDTVs and printers.".
Take a look also at the news release from Lattice Semiconductor, Lattice upgrades IspLever Classic design tool, as well as Xilinx simplifies design flow for FPGA technology from Xilinx, and TSMC adopts Rubix for hardening CPU cores from Azuro.
