‘Bluetooth Devices’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Magnetometer offers digital compass functionality from Freescale Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Freescale Semiconductor has added the MAG3110 magnetometer that delivers digital electronic compass functionality for location-based services to its Xtrinsic line of intelligent sensing solutions.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Easy-to-use, economical PoE boards from Saelig: "Saelig has introduced a range of economical Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) boards, with regulated DC output, which allow remote device operation and control without the need for a local power source. ".

In January 2011, we covered the news from Maxim Integrated Products - take a look at DACs prolong battery life in portable applications which says: "The MAX5214 (14-bit) and MAX5216 (16-bit) digital-to-analogue converters offer power consumption of less than 80uA IQ and prolong battery life in portable applications. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Intersil, DC/DC regulators for single Li+ cell applications, as well as DIN-rail system enables IP video surveillance from Axiomtek, and Saelig launches handheld Bluetooth barcode scanner from Saelig.
