Microwave acquisition cooks up merger
Vitelec Electronics is to combine its operation with Chelmsford-based Midwest Microwave International, a leading supplier of low-loss RF cable assemblies and microwave components
Vitelec Electronics, part of Emerson Connectivity Solutions, is to combine its operation with Chelmsford-based Midwest Microwave International, a leading supplier of low-loss RF cable assemblies and microwave components. Due for completion during Q4 of 2006, the merger follows Emerson's recent acquisition of Midwest Microwave of Saline, Michigan, USA and Midwest Microwave International based in Chelmsford, Essex, UK, a move that will bring significant benefits to customers both in the UK and Europe.

Plans for combining the two current operations are in a very advanced stage and the integration is expected to be completed during the last calendar quarter of 2006.
During this time, customers will be informed of progress and should continue to use Vitelec's Dudley facility until advised otherwise.
