Daxian takes speedy
route to handset market
Daxian Group is to develop a range of mobile phones based on TTPCom's software
TTPCom and Daxian Group have signed an agreement for the development of a range of mobile phones based on TTPCom's software. Daxian's current product range includes audio and video products, network and communication products and key components, and this licensing deal with TTPCom will enable the company to progress to the development and manufacture of mobile phones based on TTPCom's platform.

Daxian is currently focused on the Chinese mobile phone market, which is the world's largest mobile phone market with over 200 million subscribers, and in the future the company has plans to export its products worldwide.
Richard Fry, Sales and Marketing Director of TTPCom stated: "Daxian have demonstrated a very strong commitment to succeed in the development of mobile phones and are building a great team of dedicated software engineers.

He added: "Over 15 million phones using TTPCom's technology have been sold in China this year alone, and with approvals on over 70 networks worldwide we are very well placed to assist Daxian in realising their ambitions of becoming a leading manufacturer of mobile phones".
Li Shikuan, Vice General Manager of Daxian Group stated: "Daxian started its mobile phone business in 1999, and has established the Daxian brand in the Chinese mobile phone market.
