TTPCom is recruiting a significant number of engineers to join the development team working on the TTPCom Ajar platform - the definitive mobile applications framework for mass market handsets. New recruits will get involved at the cutting edge of mobile technology, working with leading handset manufacturers worldwide to help them benefit from Ajar's accelerated time to market. A new project brings the need for additional skills.
The job specifications include both temporary and permanent staff and require a range of skills relating to wireless technologies, including applications developers with skills in connectivity, multimedia and mobile user interfaces, project managers and delivery specialists.
All positions will be based at TTPCom's headquarters in Melbourn.
Barry Jones, Ajar Operations Director at TTPCom comments: 'Ajar is really gaining traction in the market so we are ramping up the number of engineers working on the programme to meet the demand'.
'It is a great opportunity for top class engineers with experience of the mobile industry to make a direct contribution to new generations of mobile handsets which will be in shops early next year'.
Handset manufacturers and their design partners are rapidly adopting the Ajar platform as it enables a single applications investment for a whole range of low-end to high-end multimedia phones.
In addition it can be used with multiple 2G and 3G modems and multiple hardware architectures.
The reduction in development costs and increase in productivity result in a reduced time to market for highly differentiated handsets.
