Austin 24VinLynx series point-of-load DC/DC convertors are designed to support the power needs of industrial and control applications.

New from Tyco Electronics Power Systems, Austin 24VinLynx series point-of-load (PoL) DC/DC convertors are designed to support the power needs of industrial and control applications.

The AXB050X43-SR model of the Austin 24VinLynx series is targeted for 24V DC input applications with a 50W constant power deliverable.

It supports an input voltage range of 20-30V DC, with a programmable output range of 5-15V DC using an external resistor.

The AXB030X43-SR model of the series produces a constant power of 30W, supporting 18-30V DC input voltage, with an output range of 3-6V DC.

Both models are equipped with remote sense, positive logic on/off control, pre-bias immunity, monotonic startup, overcurrent and overtemperature protection.

"Our new Austin 24VinLynx series is designed to address the needs of 24V DC input applications", said Sabi Varma, Vice President, Marketing and Development Engineering at Tyco Electronics Power Systems.

"This module truly extends the benefits of PoL convertors to two major market segments by providing standard power solutions".

The Austin 24VinLynx convertor is offered in SMT packaging and measures 33.0 x 13.5 x 8.28mm.

Its robust construction is able to withstand industry standard handling, cleaning and soldering processes.

The convertor can be operated under temperatures ranging from -40 to +85C.

Pricing of the Austin 24VinLynx convertor starts at $13.78 each in a quantity of 1000 units.
