RS Components is to hold a free workshop on BLDC motor control at Regus Office, Camborne, Cambridge, on 5 November 2008 from 09.30-15.00.
Ideal for engineers considering switching from brushed DC motors to BLDC motors, the workshop will explain how a typical BLDC motor can be controlled using various PIC microcontrollers.
The topics covered include: basics, low cost applications, circuit technology, back EMF, EMI DC versus BLDC motors, motor control, feedback and power section, sensor and sensorless control, and development tools.
