The latest version of Rittal's Therm software will calculate thermal parameters and choose the appropriate options for enclosure temperature control.

The latest version of Rittal's Therm software will calculate thermal parameters and choose the appropriate options for enclosure temperature control.

Within the same package Rittal include RiDiag software, a diagnostic tool, which allows users of Rittal microcontroller cooling units to program the EPROM of the cooling unit with setpoints for temperatures and alarms.

RiDiag allows full download of performance data for analysis on a standard PC, and also tracks all faults and the operation of connected equipment such as door switches.

This allows users to identify faults or potential hazards before a major failure takes place, eg if enclosure doors opened repeatedly, this may prompt the supervisor to limit door openings in an effort to combat the ingress of contaminates and humid air.

Rittal's configuration and anslysis software is available free to users of Rittal's cooling units, and the company's thermal management team is always available to offer advice and answer new and potential customer questions.
