A new range of cost-effective rental solutions will appeal to companies who need to test and repair low volumes of complex PCB assemblies but are cautious about investment.

In a move designed to support companies who need to test and repair low volumes of complex PCB assemblies both in manufacturing and service environments but are cautious about investment - Polar has come up with a range of cost-effective rental solutions.

"Many clients have expressed the desire to increase their test and troubleshooting capability on low volumes of complex PCB assemblies but in the current climate are reluctant to take on further capital investment", remarks Neil Chamberlain, European Sales Manager, Polar Instruments.

"Now Polar's new rental programmes offer clients the ability to benefit from our latest generation flying probe repair test systems - without the need to commit to capital expenditure, and, the latest version GRS500 PCB is so fast to program from over 20 CAD data formats that your Polar repair test system can start paying for itself within hours of installation".

In addition to rental programmes for assembled board test equipment, Polar's clients in the bare board industry can also benefit from having the option of renting manual and automated controlled impedance test systems.

Initially available in territories with Polar sales offices, Polar also intends to roll out the rental programmes through its international sales channels in the future.
