‘Pcb Assemblies’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Rugged wire cable system allows for blind mating from Samtec, which we summarised at the time by saying "Samtec has released the PowerStrip/15 cable assembly (MPSS series), a robust, discrete power interconnect system suitable for limited-space, harsh-environment and/or high-current applications.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Rugged connectors for oil and gas downhole tools from Amphenol: "Amphenol is offering a line of high-pressure, rugged connectors for oil and gas downhole tools that feature a bidirectional psi of 20,000. ".
In November 2010, we covered the news from Link Microtek - take a look at Rotary joints enable high-power transmissions which says: "Link Microtek has introduced a range of dual-channel rotary joints that offer low-loss performance and high power capability over the frequency range 1.5 to 40GHz. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Radiall, Cable assemblies target test-bench applications, as well as SMD fuse for over-current protection applications from Schurter, and USB 3.0 cable assemblies for portable devices from GTK.
