UltraSource, a supplier of custom thin film devices, today announced the acquisition of the custom thin film circuit manufacturing unit from MicroMetrics, a semiconductor device manufacturer based in Londonderry, NH. The acquisition strengthens UltraSource's position as a world leader in the custom design and manufacturing of thin film circuits and related services.

In addition to all inventory and backlog, UltraSource will be acquiring several pieces of state-of-the-art thin film manufacturing equipment including a Miva Photo Plotter and a photo tooling production clean room.
