MicroMetrics has expanded its epitaxial growth and coating services for the semiconductor fabrication market. The newly expanded Londonderry, New Hampshire, facility now includes seven Gemini Epi reactors. This dedicated business unit supports the growing of 3, 4 and 5in silicon wafers and will soon be offering products to meet the demands of the 6in wafer market.

To support the facility expansion, MicroMetrics has made several new hires with decades of experience in epitaxial growth, including engineers, sales and technical reactor operations personnel.

The MicroMetrics epitaxial service uses silicon materials with single, double or triple layers being grown through a CVD process.

The company is offering full service on research and development projects through large production orders.
