LynuxWorks appoints French distributor
LynuxWorks has appointed AP Embedded Solutions of Paris, France as a distributor - the company specialises in system software, marketing, integration and support
LynuxWorks has announced the expansion of its distributor network with the addition of AP Embedded Solutions of Paris, France, which specialises in system software, marketing, integration and support for industries that employ complex software applications, especially those requiring certification such as aerospace, telecomms, process control and automotive.

AP Embedded Solutions (APES) will support LynuxWorks customers in France.
'Working with LynuxWorks means we are able to offer our clients a fully supported family of Linux ABI (application binary interface) compatible embedded operating systems, from the royalty free BlueCat Linux, through to the LynxOS real-time operating system (RTOS) and the certifiable RTOS LynxOS-178', said Bruno Privat, Sales Director of APES.
Privat continued: 'There is already a strong market here in France for LynxOS and the Linux ABI compatibility between the LynuxWorks systems lets customers inexpensively develop with BlueCat Linux and migrate applications to the real-time system - with no costly or lengthy porting process'.
