‘Device Drivers’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Monitoring system features Nordic transceivers from Nordic Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Nordic Semiconductor has announced that Spantec has developed a fully comprehensive ANT+ telemedical remote monitoring system using Nordic nRF24AP2 eight-channel 2.4GHz ANT transceivers.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Power-management controller for standard MOSFETs from Texas Instruments: "Texas Instruments has introduced a power-management controller and driver for standard and logic-level N-channel MOSFETs used for low-voltage, secondary-side synchronous rectification. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from RDP Electronics - take a look at Transducers suited to shock and vibration tests which says: "Linear variable displacement transducers (LVDTs) from RDP Electronics are inherently robust and durable enough to meet the rigours of testing in situations generating vibration or shock. ".
Take a look also at the news release from ST Microelectronics, SoC ICs for cable and terrestrial set-top boxes, as well as Ocean Blue SoCs suited for connected TV products from Ocean Blue, and Gain blocks for cellular bands GSM, CDMA and UMTS from Avago Technologies.
