This is the second consecutive year that ICSI has won the award, following last years win for its 3.3V high speed asynchronous SRAM series.
The IC1100 series is the first system-on-chip total solution in ICSI's logic product line.
The device has embedded USB1.1 and PCMCIA ports and is compatible with the seven mainstream Flash interfaces: CompactFlash, SmartMedia, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital, Memory Stick, IBM Microdrive and NAND Flash.
It can also support the latest xD Picture Card and Memory Stick Duo Card.
With its embedded Flash ROM design, the IC1100 series also has the ability to be easily upgraded at anytime, in addition, an MP3 added-value interface is also available.
The highly integrated, added-value solution was recognised by the panel of judges in five critical categories - R and D, design innovation, quality systems, marketing, and brand awareness - to win the prestigious award.
"Receiving this second honour from the government shows that our continuing efforts in marketing, R and D, quality and brand marketing have been highly recognised, and also acts as the motivating force for us to keep working hard on new ways of innovation", said KY Han, Chairman and CEO of ICSI.
"This award has another special meaning to ICSI because this awarded IC1100 series was also the very first system-on-a-chip total solution for ICSI, hence, this award also represents an achievement milestone for the ICSI logic product line.
