The DProbeHS in-circuit emulation system from Hitex now supports the USB 2.0 derivative AT89C5131 from Atmel.
The software package comprises the Hitop development environment and sample applications inclusive source code so that users can adapt them to their applications.
The included DashBoard graphical user interface allows users to modify the device configuration and view the effects while an application is running.
An optional extension I/O board is available for evaluation of peripheral features such as USB, CAN, USART and IrDA interfaces.
Hitex offers the powerful Tantino Cortex tailored to the STM32's characteristics for efficient on-chip debugging.
The Tantino Cortex offers complete run control functionality (either via JTAG or serial wire debug port) covering breakpoints, watchpoints and single-step operation.
As with all Hitex systems, Tantino Cortex is controlled by Hitop, the universal user interface featuring Flash programming, update on running and exception assistant.
At Embedded World 2008 Hitex will highlight the complete implementation of the Cortex Serial Wire Viewer offering additional debug features, such as allowing recorded measured data to be displayed in a timing diagram.
With its open interfaces Hitop also allows the integration of additional tools such as the new Tasking VX-compiler.
And for Gnu users, Embedded World 2008 will see the launch of the Gnu Cortex Compiler, which has been specially designed to support the STM32.
In addition, Hitex offers RTOS support and a range of portable protocol stacks adapted to the STM32's characteristics.
All components have been tested to ensure optimised interaction and are available directly from Hitex.
