A free 200 page pdf book on the Philips LPC2000 family of ARM7 based microcontrollers is now available from the Hitex (UK) website.

A full printed book can be purchased from the company's web shop, including the demo CD.

The book gives an introduction the ARM7 CPU and associated software development tools as well as a thorough description of the LPC2000 system architecture and peripherals.

The book is accompanied by 26 worked example programs with step-by-step tutorials that illustrate all the major features of the LPC2000.

All the example programs are designed to work with the evaluation version to the Keil ARM compiler and simulator.

A low cost LPC2100 starter kit with evaluation board and JTag unit is also available so users can run all the examples on a real LPC2000 microcontroller.
