ORCA-D2 camera performs dual-wavelength imaging
Hamamatsu Photonics has announced that it will release the ORCA-D2 high-sensitivity camera for simultaneous dual-wavelength imaging in Spring 2010.
The camera features two CCD devices, interchangeable optical blocks and optical setup steps such as image alignment and focusing.
The ORCA-D2 also provides a wide field of view during dual-wavelength imaging.
It is suitable for variety of fluorescence-microscopy applications, including ratio imaging, FRET and dual-wavelength TIRF.
The ORCA-D2 will be exhibited in December at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology, San Diego Convention Center and the Annual Meeting of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan, Pacifico Yokohama.
