This negative mode display from GTK suits automotive and audio applications, as well as vending machines, consumer electronics and applications where a '12 o'clock viewing angle' is typical.
The technology in the LCD is said to produce an extremely black background with an ultra-high-contrast ratio (300:1).
Various types of LED backlights can be used with this device, enabling ease of differentiation across a suite of similar products.
This product effectively replaces TN Black mask, negative mode FSTN in terms of performance and cost.
The speed of this device means that, where scrolling messages are required left to right, the problems of time lag are eliminated.
