Densitron's has added three displays from Seiko Instruments to its industrial TFT range.

The 32NHF0H, 32WVF0H and 35WVF0H utilise Fringe Field Switching (FFS) technology to create wide viewing angles of up to 170deg in both horizontal and vertical directions.

Measuring 3.2in and 1.9mm in thickness, the 32NHF0H offers a near High Definition (nHD) pixel resolution of 360 x 640, which is set to become the standard resolution used for displaying mobile HD content.

The TFT comes with selectable CPU interface 8-bit/16-bit, utilises a bright 300cd/m LED backlight and has a contrast ratio of 800:1 and true 24-bit colour depth to create 16.7 million colours.

The two other displays, 32WVF0H (3.2in) and 35WVF0H (3.5in), are both 2mm thick and have LED backlights of 350cd/m and 300cd/m respectively.

They offer a contrast ratio of 500:1, a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and 24-bit colour depth to produce 16.2 million colours.

Both displays come with 24-bit RGB interface (plus SPI interface for register settings).

The 35WVF0H also provides selectable 18-bit/24-bit RGB interface.

The Seiko TFT displays have long-term availability guarantee and are supported by Densitron's Engineering Design Service, which offers options on integrating standard or custom display modules with PCB, plastics, keypads and/or touch overlays.
