Euroquartz's XO91 series now features versions that operate with 1.8 and 2.5V supplies, complementing existing 3.3 and 5V models. These low voltage SMD oscillators are ideal for use in a wide variety of applications including hand held and battery powered communications equipment, PDAs, GPS and wireless LANs.
Maximum current consumption for the new low voltage oscillators ranges from 8 to 25mA for 1.8V parts and from 10 to 30mA for 2.5V devices depending on frequency.
The XO91 series oscillators comprise a TTL/CMOS compatible hybrid circuit and a miniature quartz crystal enclosed in a low profile 7 x 5mm ceramic package.
The high quality design and materials used in the manufacture of this field-proven oscillator provide secure and reliable operation while mass production methods ensure low costs.

Available in the frequency range from 600kHz to 125MHz, the XO91 series SMD oscillators are suitable for vapour-phase, infrared or epoxy mount techniques.
Tristate function is provided as standard and can be disabled as required.
Four frequency stability ranges are available encompassing +/-10ppm (0 to 50C), +/-15ppm (0 to 70C), +/-25ppm (-40 to +85C) and +/-50ppm (-55 to +125C).
Specifications include duty cycle of 50+/-10% as standard (50+/-5% available), 15pF CMOS output load (less than 50pF available), 10 LSTTL output load, maximum startup time of 5ms (1.8 to 32MHz) or 10ms (32 to 125MHz) and maximum ageing of +/-5ppm in first year.
Three operating temperature ranges are available covering commercial (-10 to +70C), industrial (-40 to +85C) and military (-55 to +125C) applications.
