Both companies specialise in delivering engineering led solutions using quartz crystal technology so there is already significant synergy between the two manufacturers.

Commenting on the agreement, Andy Treble, Euroquartz's Sales and Marketing Director, said: "Statek's unique technology provides a range of high specification, high quality miniature crystals and oscillators that are ideally suited to professional, military and medical applications".

Statek products are extensively used and proven in many harsh environment industries including medical for heart pacemakers and other implant devices, high shock military, ABS braking systems, rotating shaft transducers and geophysical drilling operations.

Recent developments from Statek include customised temperature and force sensors using the unique properties delivered by the company's state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.
