Electrolube to show non-VOC conformal coating line
Electrolube will exhibit its non-VOC conformal coating range - designed to help reduce VOC emissions from electronics manufacturing processes - at Electronex in Sydney, Australia, on 8-9 September.
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) contribute to the formation of ground-level ozone, a major component of smog; this pollution can have detrimental effects on the environment.
The NVOC-solvent and VOC-free conformal coating delivers the performance of a solvent-based coating without VOCs.
Electrolube will also exhibit a low-foam micro-emulsion cleaner, the Safewash Total (Swat) product and the ER2218 ultra-low-viscosity, flame-retardant epoxy resin.
Swat, the newest product in the Safewash range, is an effective aqueous cleaning product.
It is a specially formulated blend of non-flammable solvents that form a micro-emulsion when mixed with water.
Designed for cleaning printed circuit boards, it is suitable for the removal of leaded, lead-free and no-clean flux residues.
The cleaner is also suitable for the removal of pastes and adhesives from screens, stencils, boards and accessories as well as general degreasing applications.
It is a low-foam cleaner suitable for use in dishwasher and inline pressure systems, as well as ultrasonic and spray-under immersion applications.
The product provides excellent cleaning performance in a variety of applications, even at low temperatures, and it enables cleaning using an array of different equipment and methods; being surfactant free, it is easy to rinse.
In addition, it offers very low toxicity, VOC, odour and foam, making it environmentally friendly.
The ER2218 is a two-part encapsulation compound designed to meet a high level of flame retardancy and adhesion to a variety of substrates, while exhibiting excellent resistance to water and a number of different chemicals to provide protection in a range of environments.
Electrolube Australia also imports and distributes the Hakko soldering range of products for sale in Australia and New Zealand.
A number of Hakko's products will be exhibited at Electronex, including the FR-801 model, which features an air outlet with a new mechanism supplying hot air at a stable temperature, and the FR-802 model, which incorporates a digital thermal display to facilitate temperature control.
All of Electrolube and Hakko's latest products will be on display at Electronex on Stand D15.
