A 4.1in 16:9 WVGA 800 x 480 resolution module and a 3.5in display with full VGA 640 x 480 resolution are the latest additions to the range of LPTS panels from GPEG.
The latest additions to the range of small TFT panels from GPEG are a 4.1in 16:9 WVGA 800 x 480 resolution module and a 3.5in display with full VGA 640 x 480 resolution.
Each of these high-contrast transmissive LPTS technology panels has a contrast ratio of 400:1 and uses LED backlight technology, which gives a brightness of 350cd/m2 for the 4.1in panel and 200cd/m2 for the 3.5in unit.
The 4.1in module will display 16.7 million colours and has a CMOS RGB interface with 8bit per pixel.
The 3.5in device features 256K colours via its CMOS 6bit per pixel interface.
Each display also features an integrated resistive touchscreen and controller Both displays are very compact and light weight making them ideal for handheld and portable devices.
