Compact low-profile ceiling-mount bidirectional antenna provides 4dBi of gain and a VSWR of 1.5:1.

A compact low-profile ceiling-mount bidirectional antenna, offering 4dBi of gain and a VSWR of 1.5:1, is now available from Admiral Microwaves.

Manufactured by the Cushcraft Corporation, the SQ2405DD12F, is the latest in a range of antennas now in stock, covering a wide range of commercial, industrial and military radio applications.

This device, delivering a bidirectional pattern characteristic, is specified to cover the 2.4 to 2.5GHz frequency band, making it ideal for systems integrators, installing Wi-Fi, RFID, land mobile radio, specialised mobile radio, cellular, security and WLL based equipment.

The RoHS-compliant antenna is supplied with a 12in coax pigtail, and the standard connector is N-type female.

Alternative versions with modified pigtail length and different connectors, to suit specialist applications, can be delivered on request.

The housing is manufactured from moulded, finely textured, UV-stable thermoplastic, which can be painted to blend in with the ceiling colour.

Standard installations include offices, shopping centres, healthcare facilities, education establishments, tunnels and warehouses.

The SQ2405DD12F antenna from Admiral Microwaves is competitively priced with special pricing available for larger quantity orders.

Standard lead time is 2 to 3 weeks, on receipt of a volume order.

Alternatively, these bidirectional antennas, and other antennas, accessories and mounts from the Cushcraft range, for 2.4 and 5GHz wireless LAN and RFID applications, can be ordered from Admiral Microwave's online shopping facility.
