ART Advanced Recognition Technologies is to work with UIQ Technology, a leading developer of pen-based user interface platforms for symbian OS based mobile phones. The co-operation, where ART is contributing with its expertise on advanced recognition technologies, will result in a closer integration of 3rd-party speech recognition solutions on UIQ.
ART will also be hosting UIQ Technology on its booth at next week's 3GSM World Congress.
There, the two companies will be demonstrating the first example of their joint co-operation, which will be ART's recognition technologies, integrated into UIQ in use on the new Sony Ericsson P800 mobile handset.
UIQ Technology is pleased with the positive development on the agreement for future co-operation between UIQ Technology and ART.
