An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Torex launches high-speed 10.5V LDO regulator from Torex Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Torex Semiconductor has launched the XC6505 series, a 10.5V LDO regulator that is targeted at applications that require a small form factor and a good amount of power dissipation.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release DACs prolong battery life in portable applications from Maxim Integrated Products: "The MAX5214 (14-bit) and MAX5216 (16-bit) digital-to-analogue converters offer power consumption of less than 80uA IQ and prolong battery life in portable applications. ".

In January 2011, we covered the news from Intersil - take a look at DC/DC regulators for single Li+ cell applications which says: "Intersil has introduced a trio of dual-output FET buck regulators that provide up to 95 per cent power conversion efficiency and are said to offer designers greater flexibility.".

Take a look also at the news release from Adept Scientific, Adept introduces data-acquisition modules , as well as DIN-rail system enables IP video surveillance from Axiomtek, and Zigbee network processor for the home automation from Texas Instruments.
