‘Pushbutton Switches’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release QDR and DDR SRAMs for reducing power consumption from Cypress Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Cypress Semiconductor has announced Quad Data Rate (QDR) and Double Data Rate (DDR) SRAMs at 36-Mbit and 18-Mbit densities, for networking use in medical imaging and military signal-processing.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Carling switches target transportation industry from Master Distributors: "Master Distributors has announced that it now carries a range of switches, including rocker, toggle, pushbutton and rotary styles, manufactured by Carling Technologies.".

In December 2010, we covered the news from Cissoid - take a look at High-temperature data-transmission system unveiled which says: "Cissoid has unveiled RHEA, a high-temperature data-transmission solution with galvanic isolation of 2.5kV and operating reliably from -55 to 225C. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Bulgin Components, Vandal-resistant switches enable access control, as well as DC switch disconnectors for PV applications from Switchtec, and Rugged coded switches for military applications from Elma Electronic.
