Carling switches target transportation industry

Master Distributors has announced that it now carries a range of switches, including rocker, toggle, pushbutton and rotary styles, manufactured by Carling Technologies.

The switches come with a variety of aesthetic and functional options, including circuit configurations, AC and DC ratings, insulated and watershedding constructions, termination options, mounting options, custom colours and imprinting.

Carling Technologies is a manufacturer of switches used in the transportation industry for on-/off-road vehicles, trucks, buses, boats, and trains.

The Contura series and L-series family of sealed illuminated and non-illuminated rocker switches offer complete protection against dust and prolonged effects of spray and immersion under pressure, and are sealed to an ingress protection rating of IP66 and IP68.

The switches are also recognised to UL1500 ignition protection for marine products.

Numerous options are available for Contura and L-series switches, including ratings, terminations, removable actuators and lenses, actuator styles, textures, colours, symbols, illuminations, and circuits.
