An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Ultra-compact photocoupler to address MOSFET needs from Toshiba Electronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Toshiba Electronics has announced the TLP2451, a photocoupler designed for inverters, induction heating designs and other devices requiring safety isolation and operation at high ambient temperatures.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release AC input logic-IC couplers enable communications from Toshiba Electronics: "The TLP2095 and TLP2098 AC input logic-IC couplers are suited for programmable logic controllers, communications equipment and digital interface circuits".
In August 2010, we covered the news from Toshiba Electronics - take a look at Photocoupler enables 20Mbps data transmission which says: "Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) has announced an ultra-compact photocoupler for high-speed communication interfaces. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Toshiba Electronics, Photocouplers can be used in isolated bus drivers, as well as Devices provide ultra-low-profile board mounting from Toshiba Electronics, and Toshiba introduces optically coupled isolators from Toshiba Electronics Europe.
