Start with the news release Photo IC for optical switching applications from Hamamatsu Photonics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced a photo IC that is designed for optical switches and provides an analogue waveform output, proportional to the intensity of incident pulsed light. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Bridge chip range for USB/(HID)-USB connectivity from Silicon Laboratories: "Silicon Laboratories' latest-generation bridge chip range provides a small-footprint solution for USB and human interface device (HID)-USB connectivity. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Cissoid - take a look at High-temperature data-transmission system unveiled which says: "Cissoid has unveiled RHEA, a high-temperature data-transmission solution with galvanic isolation of 2.5kV and operating reliably from -55 to 225C. ".
