Start with the news release Photo IC for optical switching applications from Hamamatsu Photonics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced a photo IC that is designed for optical switches and provides an analogue waveform output, proportional to the intensity of incident pulsed light. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release LED suitable for TV and LCD monitor backlighting from Osram Opto Semiconductors: "The Topled Compact 5630 LED from Osram Opto Semiconductors is designed for backlighting applications such as monitors and television screens.".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Rogers - take a look at HTC material for low loss in high-power circuits which says: "Rogers has introduced RT/duroid 6035HTC, a high-thermal-conductivity (HTC) laminate material engineered for low loss in high-power circuits. ".
