‘jpeg2000’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Web application demonstrates IP core capabilities from Evatronix, which we summarised at the time by saying "Evatronix has introduced an online application that demonstrates the capabilities of the company's JPEG 2000 Encoder IP core for SoC designers.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release 4DSP develops advanced scalable technology from 4DSP: "The first in a series of Xilinx Virtex 6 FPGA-based XMC and PMC boards has been launched by 4DSP.".
In September 2009, we covered the news from 4DSP - take a look at 4DSP releases FPGA video image/compression boards which says: "Three Altera Cyclone III FPGA-based video-image and compression boards have been released by 4DSP.".
Take a look also at the news release from Plextek, EPAC platform utilised in CISP technology, as well as FPGA platform hosts vision development from 4DSP, and JPEG2000 hardware provides compression boost from 4DSP.
