Start with the news release Low-power network platform for harsh environments from Axiomtek, which we summarised at the time by saying "Axiomtek has announced the NA-320FL, a fanless 1U compact network appliance platform with 6GB LANs that supports the low-power Intel Atom processors D510 1.66GHz with Intel ICH8M PCH chipset.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release LCD display modules for gauges and meters from Saelig: "Saelig has announced the availability of uLCD-32PT, a 3.2in QVGA TFT with 65K LCD TFT display with integrated touch screen and smart graphics processor for industrial control and robotics.".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Kontron - take a look at Motherboard suits gaming and medical applications which says: "Kontron has announced the BGA version of its embedded Mini-ITX motherboard KT690/mITX (BGA) for applications in gaming, digital signage, POS/POI, medical technology and industrial and panel PCs.".
