‘Fpga Synthesis’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release EASA certifies avionics unit with Altera processor from Altera, which we summarised at the time by saying "The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has certified a safety-critical avionics system that includes a DO-254/ED-80-certifiable version of Altera's Nios II embedded processor.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release TPS54618 for DSP- and FPGA-based communications from Texas Instruments: "The TPS54618 provides 95-per-cent efficiency and operating current of 2.95-6V for point-of-load designs used in DSP- and FPGA-based communications, test and medical equipment. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Stemmer Imaging - take a look at FPGA-based frame grabbers for image acquisition which says: "Stemmer Imaging can now offer what are said to be the world's fastest FPGA-based Cameralink frame grabbers from Silicon Software, which are suited as an OEM solution for image acquisition. ".
Take a look also at the news release from MSC Vertriebs, Oscillator for PCIe-based embedded applications, as well as PCI mezzanine card targets the space industry from Aitech Defense Systems, and FDS Software used in Fujitsu ASIC Reference Flow from Forte Design Systems.
