Start with the news release Single-board computer suitable for control boxes from Aaeon, which we summarised at the time by saying "Aaeon has launched the EPIC-QM57, an EPIC single-board computer sized at 115 x 165mm to fall between the 3.5in SubCompact board and a Mini-ITX motherboard, suiting it to embedded-system developers.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Module supports industrial automation applications from Anglia Components: "Anglia Components has introduced the first of a series of Avalue ARM9 RISC-based embedded computing modules targeted at low-cost industrial embedded computing solutions such as panel PCs.".

In April 2010, we covered the news from Gigavac - take a look at GXL14 switches from 12 to 750V DC and AC which says: "Gigavac has brought out the GXL14 - the first release in the GXL line of latching contactors that can switch voltages from 12 to 750V DC and AC. ".
