Start with the news release AC/DC power supplies can be used in LED signage from TDK-Lambda, which we summarised at the time by saying "TDK-Lambda's ZWS-BAF series of PCB-type AC/DC power supplies is designed to meet the demands of a range of applications, including factory automation, test and measurement, and LED signage. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Power supplies suit budget-conscious applications from TDK-Lambda: "The LS200 line of power supplies is suited to budget-conscious applications but is also said to offer more functions than similarly priced products available on the market and can fit into a 1U rack.".
 
In July 2010, we covered the news from TDK-Lambda - take a look at TDK power supplies feature protective coating which says: "TDK-Lambda is introducing its CPFE500 range of baseplate-cooled power supplies for outdoor applications such as broadcast, LED signage and COTS military.".
