Start with the news release SIP POL converters suited for telecommunications from Bel Power, which we summarised at the time by saying "Bel Power's VRPx Series of SIP (single inline package) footprint POL converters is suited for networking and telecommunications equipment, such as as servers, workstations, computers and peripherals.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Power conversion IC for low-profile applications from Power Integrations: "Power Integrations has announced the availability of its Topswitch-JX power conversion IC in an eSOP low-profile power package for applications such as slim LCD TV auxiliary power and PC standby.".
In December 2010, we covered the news from RS Components - take a look at RS Components launches power supply microsite which says: "RS Components is boosting its support for designers of power applications with the introduction of 960 power supply products brought together on a dedicated microsite. ".
