‘Cordless Phones’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release PLDs for low-power consumer design applications from Avnet Memec, which we summarised at the time by saying "Avnet Memec is offering Lattice Semiconductor's MachXO2T programmable logic devices (PLDs), which offer low-density PLD designers low cost, low power and high system integration in a single device.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release CMOS logic devices suited for mobile phones from Diodes Incorporated: "Diodes Incorporated has released new versions of its 74LVC1GXX and 74LVCE1GXX CMOS logic ranges in DFN1410 packages for mobile phones, smart phones and tablet computers. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Silicon Laboratories - take a look at Bridge chip range for USB/(HID)-USB connectivity which says: "Silicon Laboratories' latest-generation bridge chip range provides a small-footprint solution for USB and human interface device (HID)-USB connectivity. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Austriamicrosystems, Hall-sensor IC for low power HMI applications, as well as Chip filters optimise performance of mobile phones from Taiyo Yuden, and Tool safeguards low-voltage portable electronics from Linear Technology.
